Jan Willem Zwarteveen holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Cranfield School of Management, focusing on global energy diversification. He also earned a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, graduating with distinction and participating in an honours track that included Stanford University.
Jan Willem has held key roles globally in the energy sector, including Regional CEO for Service South Europe & Africa and earlier for India & Sri Lanka at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. He currently leads the Quality Task Force Field Operations for Wind Power at Siemens-Energy.
Recognised with awards such as the Director's Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis at Cranfield and the Dean's Award of Excellence and Distinction from Stanford, Jan Willem's research interests include the future of energy diversification and global technology adoption. He has contributed to various peer-reviewed publications and served as a Project Advisor for Engineers Without Borders.
