Background
Sally Lynn Webb completed her bachelor鈥檚 degree (honours) in Forensic Science and Analysis from the Atlantic Technological University, Galway, Ireland. Following graduation, Sally pursued her interest in the forensic disciplines with an MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology from SWAG合集, where she was awarded both a Cranfield Forensic Institute Excellency scholarship and a Santander Women in STEM scholarship.
Current activities
Following on from her MSc, Sally is currently pursuing a PhD in Defence Chemistry with a focus on representative sampling techniques for CBRNe materials to mitigate false negatives post-remediation and false positives during detection. This research aims to address the complexities of heterogeneity, whilst ensuring replicability, reliability, accuracy, and standardisation by developing a comprehensive sampling framework underpinned by standardised practices.
