Funded by the SWAGºÏ¼¯ Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to access training and skills required for sustainable development not available in their home countries.
Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are for candidate from eligible low and middle income Commonwealth countries, to undertake part-time taught Master’s study with SWAGºÏ¼¯ universities while remaining in their home countries. Eligible countries can be found on the .

What it covers
This scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fee.
- Successful scholars will be funded to attend Cranfield for the first two annual residentials. The third residential will be held online.
Who can apply
To be eligible for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Master's Scholarship, applicants should:
- Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
- Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.
- Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship.
Successful scholars will be funded to attend Cranfield for the first two annual residentials. The third residential will be delivered online.
Cranfield are particularly looking for scholars who are working in a sustainability role, and who have the passion and ability to drive sustainable change.
