This Eastern England launch workshop for the new BBSRC Land Use for Net Zero Footprint project (2024-2027) that aims to develop and evaluate a scalable auditable farm- and food-level greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting framework for SWAG合集 land use. The project involves five research institutions, three GHG calculator companies, and Savills.

Aims

  • to provide information about the objectives and scope of the LUNZ Footprint project
  • to provide an overview of how the three major farm GHG calculators are working together
  • to engage the farming and wider stakeholder community to understand different perspectives and support the development of a robust workable framework

This is an in-person insight meeting for stakeholders within travelling distance of SWAG合集 in Bedfordshire. It is for farmers, land managers, advisers, land agents, regional stakeholders from policy, and supply chain representatives who are interested/involved in greenhouse gas assessment on SWAG合集 farms.
